The cost effective VITAL operates on just two AA batteries and includes many operator friendly features like independent azimuth and elevation adjustments. With the momentary fire button, the trooper can select laser emissions only when there is a battle field mission need. A wide variety of flexible weapon-mounting options permits the VITAL to fit effectively into a wide variety of mission applications. Product Specifications: VITAL-2, (0.7 mW) IR Aiming laser, adjustable beam, CQB Illuminator. NVEC#16 mount APPLICATIONS: The VITAL is designed to provide target marking and illumination for covert ground operations. The laser light appears invisible to the naked eye, but fully visible to troops that are using night vision devices. Ground forces can utilize the VITAL to mark targets for close quarter’s battle missions and for marking objectives for coordinated ground attack. It is particularly well suited to close quarter battle situations with its LED IR illuminator for short range illumination simultaneously with the IR aimer. Law Enforcement can use the VITAL to mark targets for tactical ground officers or for targeting/shooting. The IR light is invisible to everyone except other officers utilizing night vision devices. With the VITAL momentary fire button and selectable continuous or pulsed mode, the officer can select laser emissions only when there is a tactical mission need. The off-axis shroud maintains the officer covert position by eliminating unwanted laser emissions. It is particularly well suited to close quarter tactical situations with its LED IR illuminator for short range illumination simultaneously with the IR aimer. The VITAL aiming light can be weapon mounted to improve targeting accuracy and aim. The two-position CQB illuminator provides short-range (50 meters) infrared light for enhanced visibility in night vision operations.
